During the first part of the tribulation, the Antichrist is schmoozing the world, enticing them over to his side. He is an excellent public relations man. He deceives the world into believing that he is a purveyor of peace, a friend of religion, and a friend to Israel.

However, the second half of the tribulation period, often referred to as the Great Tribulation, sees the Antichrist’s real motives. Satan’s time is short.

Before too long. God will put him in chains for a thousand years. The devil knows that he is defeated so he is going to destroy as many people as he can in his fury! Have you ever seen people who, because they have been defeated, try to take as many people down with them? Maybe there have been times in your life where you did the same thing?
