Lying and hate go
Hand in Hand
“A lying tongue hates those who are crushed by it, and a flattering
mouth works ruin.” Proverbs 26:28
Lying is destructive, not only to the person who does the
lying, but especially to the person who is being lied to. You see, when you
lie, you hate the person you are lying to, and in turn, committing another sin.
If you are lying to people, you hate them.
Continual lying results in loss of integrity and
trustworthiness. The more you lie to people the more broken relationships you
will experience. And, if this is going on in marriage, there will be a terrible
destruction. Ultimately, liars do not prosper.
Thought for the Day: Whether is lying to
your mate, to your employer, or on your taxes, or in general – you will reap a
whirlwind of consequences if you do not resist the temptation to lie.
