Jesus is teaching us to pray everyday for God’s provision. He doesn’t tell us to pray for a year’s supply of goods because He wants us to depend on God daily for our needs. This builds faith and trust in God as our provider instead of man-made devices.

We need to understand that God cares for our needs and us. He knows what we require to live and He knows what is lacking in our life. When you come before the Lord in prayer, you can do so confidently, knowing that He already knows your situation and He has promised to provide for you.
