The Ultimate Compassion

“Greater love has no one than this,
than to lay down one’s life for his friend.”

Do you realize that the god of the universe wants to have a relationship with you? That fact alone shows the compassionate heart of God. A perfect, holy, and just God wants to have a close relationship with you and I!

How does a holy God have a relationship with sinful man? In order for God to reconcile us back to Himself, He has to do something about our sin. After all, He cannot fellowship with unrighteousness.

In God’s infinite compassion, He made His Son, Jesus Christ, the atonement for our sins so that we could have fellowship with God!
