Satan is the Great Tempter

“Put on the whole armor of God,
that you may be able to stand against the whiles of the devil.”
Ephesians 6:11 

Satan is a big source of the temptation we face every day. He is the great tempter, playing on our weakness and fleshly desires. He studies us, just as he studied Job and afflicted him. Satan is cunning and knows where to attack. We need to be on our guard at all times and know how the enemy strikes.

Eve was tempted by Satan to doubt the Word of the Lord. She was also enticed by Satan’s lies. Instead of resisting Satan’s temptations, Adam and Eve bought into it and sinned, and suffered the consequences.
