“So the decree went out, and they began killing the wise men;
and they sought Daniel and his companions, to kill them.”

The wicked dare always demanding, unreasonable and troubled. And the righteous often suffer under their hands. When Nebuchadnezzar sent forth a death decree, Daniel immediately turned to his fellow believers to go before the Lord in prayer.

God took Daniel’s personal crisis and used it as an opportunity to reveal Himself to a wicked king and an immoral nation. Sometimes, God will put wicked and immoral people in our lives that through us, His very nature will be revealed.
