Only Certain People
“Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other
left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other
left.” Matthew 24:40-41
Will everybody be a part of the rapture? No, not everyone
will be “caught up” in the rapture. In the above verse, the Lord is making a
distinction between those that will be in the rapture and those that will be
left behind.
Those people who are “going about the Father’s business” and
living in Christ will be taken up to meet the Lord in the clouds. However,
there will be others who are left behind because they are living apart from the
Lord and practicing lifestyles of wickedness and compromise. It seems clear
that there will be people left behind who say they “believe in Christ” and
attend church, but who are living like the devil throughout the week. What
about you, are you professing Christianity but not living it?
Thought for the Day: Let me make it very
clear. No matter how many times you attend church or say that you are a
Christian, If you are not living a Christian life (not walking with the Lord)
you will be left behind!
