The God of Our Trials
“We are hard pressed on every side, yet nor crushed; we are perplexed,
but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken, struck down, but not
destroyed…” 2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Paul saw God’s hand of deliverance whether he looked back,
around, or ahead. God does not always deliver us immediately, nor does He
deliver each of us in the same way. Sometimes God delivers us from out trials,
and at other times He delivers us in out trials.
Psalm 34:6 says, “This poor man cried out, and the Lord
heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.”
The Lord never abandons His child in the midst of trouble
and turmoil. He wants us to trust in Him during our trials.
Thought for the Day: Often, God’s
deliverance is in response to out faith.
