How Do You Treat You Wife?

“Because the Lord has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, with whom you have dealt treacherously…”
Malachi 2:14 

To deal treacherously with your wife is to mistreat her – to be unfaithful and untrustworthy. A man who commits adultery is mistreating his wife. A man that has a lust problem and looks at pornography and other women is also mistreating his wife. Besides adultery and lust, mistreatment also includes verbal and physical abuse. At no time should a husband verbally harass, intimidate, or threaten his wife. And, under no circumstances should a man harm his wife physically.

Husbands are called to protect, honor, and love their wives not abuse them.
