“Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it,
from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was
found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great,
standing before God, and books were opened. And another book
was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged
according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.”
Revelation 20:11-12 

These verses give us a lot of insight into the intensity of this judgment. First of all, it confirms that everyone will one day stand before God and give an account for their life. Because those that are standing in front of the Lord at the Great White Throne are all those who did not accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, they will be judged for all their sins.

Can you imagine how many books will be at the judgment? Remember, these are the unbelievers from all ages! This would mean people from the beginning of time throughout the Millennium Kingdom. That’s a lot of people! The only way to escape judgment then is to believe in Christ NOW!
