“And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set
among our members that is defiles the whole body, and sets on
fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell.”
James 3:6 

Do you say things that hurt others and cause them to resent you? Or, do you gossip? God wants you to see the seriousness of this problem. He wants you to know that a sharp or undisciplined tongue is a sin which not only hurts your relationships with other people but is wrong in His eyes.

Commit this problem to Him, repent of it, and admit that you need the Lord’s strength to combat it.
