“Many Will Come in My Name…”

“For many will come in My name saying,
‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.”
Matthew 24:5 

Jesus Himself had much to say about the end times. He warned the disciples that there would be many false prophets who would come in His name.

Since the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, many false “messiahs” have risen up claiming to be the Lord Himself. Even today, there are various cults throughout the world who have leaders claiming to be Jesus Christ. Jesus was clear – He wanted none of us to be deceived by these charlatans. He has given us His word, so that we understand the signs of the time of His reappearing. If you are not already doing so, spend time each day in the Bible so that God’s truth is firmly planted in your mind!
