Seeing God’s Face
“They shall see His face, and His name shall be in their foreheads.”
Revelation 22:4
Heaven is our future home. God has promised us a new body, a
perfect environment, a mansion, rewards, and much more. However, the most
glorious promise we have concerning heaven is to see Jesus face to face. When a
Christian dies, they are immediately carried by the angels into God’s presence.
Fanny Crosby, who wrote many classic hymns, was born blind.
Someone approached her and said that it was too bad that God had withheld her
sight. Fanny answered, “My first request at birth would have been that God
would remove my sight because when I get to heaven the first sight I will
behold will be that of my Savior’s face.”
Thought for the Day: Because of the cross, One day we will look upon God’s face.
