The Need for Godly Husbands

“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother
and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.”
Genesis 2:24 

God places the responsibility of marriage upon the man’s shoulders. It is the husband’s role to be responsible for his wife and home. He is to love his wife and meet her needs; be committed to his wife throughout his lifetime; be the high priest of the home; honor his wife, and provide for his family.

A godly husband’s leadership is not a choice but a command of God. He can’t do it on his own. He needs t be in close communion with the Lord and filled with the Holy Spirit in order to fulfill His God given role.
