A King’s Grace
“But He gives more grace.”
James 4:6
A friend went to Alexander the Great asking for money. The
man asked for ten talents of money, but Alexander had fifty delivered to him.
When the man returned and said that ten talents would be sufficient, Alexander
replied, “Ten are sufficient for you to take, but not for me to give.”
How much more does God, the King of Kings and Lord of Lord,
give His children exceedingly above all we have ever asked or hoped for? God’s
grace is far-reaching and abundant.
Thought for the Day: Grace is God’s
special favor, Freely given to undeserving people.
