Living in Our Heart
“By that will we have been sanctified through the offering
of the body
of Jesus Christ once for all.”
Hebrews 10:10
God wants you to be separated unto Him because you belong to
Him. Your body is now the temple of the Holy Spirit, and your heart serves as
the Holy of Holies (the dwelling place of God)!
In the Old Testament, only the high priest could go into the
Holy of Holies. However, even this was limited. The priest was only allowed to
enter the Holy of Holies once a year, during Yom Kippur (the Jewish Day of
Atonement). Jesus Christ serves as our High Priest. Because of what He did on
the cross, the Lord now resides in our heart and we have access to Him every
moment every day.
