Where the temptation to drink from? Some people begin drinking socially, living the “party” lifestyle, so they think, yet all the while they are addicted. Others begin drinking as a way to relieve feelings of inadequacy. Some drink to escape worries and dispel the blues, and yet others to drink to cope with the hardship of life.

Regardless of the specific reason, alcohol is a false healer. It does not dispel the blues, it makes them greater. Alcohol does not help you escape your problems; it only increases your bondage.
