only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.”
2 Thessalonians 2:7

The church is acting as a restraint right now. When the rapture takes place, the Holy Spirit (manifested through the body of Christ) will be taken out of the world allowing the Antichrist to rise to power. Though the Holy Spirit will still be upon certain individuals at certain times in the tribulation, it will not be in the same way as it is now found in the body of Christ (the church). Do you realize that as a Christian, you are helping to restrain evil from taking over the world? Even now, it is Christians who speak out against moral decay and the embracing of immoral lifestyles.
