Love Your Wife Unconditionally

“Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved
the church and gave Himself for her.”
Ephesians 5:25 

Christ loves the church sacrificially, even to the point of dying for her. That’s the example husbands are to emulate toward their wives. You are to lover your wife sacrificially. That means you are to die to yourself. You need to die to your rights, time, pleasures, work, and friends and give yourself to your wife completely. When you love your wife in this way she is able to yield to you as head of the home.

Loving your wife in a godly manner means you are a servant. You are called to lead your wife in prayer, to read the Word with her, make decisions with her, be her protector, and be sensitive to her feelings and needs.
