“Seventy weeks are determined for your people and for your holy city,
to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins; to make
reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness,
to seal up vision and prophesy, and to anoint the Most Holy.”
Daniel 9:24 

One of the most important passages that refers to future events can be found in Daniel 9:24-27. The weeks refer to years. In all, there were 483 years between the command by King Artaxerxes to rebuild Jerusalem (444 BC) to Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem (AD 33). Going by prophetic years, the total of 483 years is exact. Daniel spoke of 490 years of prophecy for Israel’s existence. 483 years have already taken place. The last week, known as the 70^th week, is still yet to happen.

We don’t know when the last 7 years will take place, but we do know that it will be a time of horrendous judgment. God’s Word is true and His prophecies will happen right in time. Just as He has everything planned for the world, He also has everything planned out for your life as well!
