Who’s Plan?
“Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will
go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make
a profit’, whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow.
For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little
time
and then vanishes away.”
James 4:13-14
We all make plans in our life – plans for school, plans for
a career, plans for a family, and plans for retirement. Yet when we make plans
for our life without including God in the plan, we find that we come up empty.
People are dissatisfied in life. They plan, and plan, and
plan, and find that when they reach their goals they are still empty inside.
It’s this lack of satisfaction, this emptiness that drives people to despair.
They find that there is no hope, and many commit suicide. But there is a God in
heaven that knows what we need t and has a great plan for us!

God’s plan never
