“Why me? Why Not!”
“But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”
Mark 10:31
Have you ever said, “Why me Lord?” The very question implies
that we are too good for this kind of treatment or for this horrible event in
our life. It implies that we deserve better and someone else should get our
hardships or bad circumstances.
Colonal Bill Kehler’s son, Tim, was a strong Christian and
had a bright future. He was attending the Air
Force Academy
in Colorado
when he was killed in bombing practice. “Why Tim?” asked a young man, himself
disabled in a car accident. Kehler replied, “Why not Tim?”
Why not me?
Thought for the Day: The second law of
spiritual thermodynamics: The greater the heat,
the greater the expansion God has put into our
hands.
