“…They are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what
God has joined together, let not man separate.’
Matthew 19:6

God designed marriage to bring a male and female together as one. The word “joined” literally means to be glued. When a ouple gets married, it’s a holy occasion as they are joined before God, the glue being that of the Holy Spirit.

God takes an active role in marriage. He is the center of the relationship as both the husband and wife walk together in fellowship seeking God’s will. Billy Graham advises: “The home only fulfills its true purposes when it is God controlled. Leave Jesus Christ out of your home and it loses its meaning. But take Christ into your heart and the life of your family, and He will transform your home!”
