Honor Your Wife!
“Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding,
Giving honor to the wife, as to weaker vessel,
And as being heirs together of the grace of life,
That your prayers may not be hindered.”
1 Peter 3:7
The Lord is calling husbands to be understanding and
compassionate towards their wives. Gentleness and honor should define your
treatment of her. God has entrusted you with your wife. She should be given
attention, Care and respect. There should be no doubt in your wife’s mind
whether or not you value her opinions and concerns. Some men, however,
disregard their wives’ input with anger and bitterness rather than
understanding and honor.
Read through 1 Peter 3:7 a few times. What importance does
God put upon honoring your wife?
