The problem of disrespect in the home is not a new one. The Bible is filled with Scriptures regarding the issue of respect. God wants peace in the home and this comes by teaching respect. Teaching your children respect starts with the husband and wife respecting each other.

How can children respect their parents if the parents don’t respect each other? Begin by being an example in your home. Then, take your children through the Scriptures that teach about respecting one another and respecting parental authority. And remember, start teaching when they are young!
