The Problem With Sincerity

In a Peanuts cartoon, Charlie Brown said, “Why do we always lose when we are so sincere?”

We can be sincerely wrong! Sincerely doesn’t mean success and is doesn’t mean an automatic entrance to heaven! Truth is what matters -- not sincerity. There are many people who are sincere about their religion, beliefs, and philosophies. Hitler was sincere about what he believed but he was also dead wrong! Concern yourself with the truth and your sincerity will be holy. Forget the truth and your sincerity will be devilish!
