Staying in His
Presence
“Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you
from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who
dwell on the earth.” Revelation 3:10
It’s important to stay in the presence of God. The Hebrew
word for “walking” means to go on habitually. Progress in holiness was the
habit of all the ancient saints of the past. They wanted to be in fellowship
and communion with their God. I like what Warren Wiersbe says about this:
“Whenever you go anyplace, wherever you sit, wherever you stand, whenever you
travel to another place, another city, another state, or another part of the
world, remember one thing – If you’re a Christian, the shekinah glory of God
surrounds you and follows you. There is no possible way to get away from the
presence of God.”
Thought for the Day: Depending on your
relationship with God, The fact that you can’t get away from His presence can
bring joy or fear!
