Have you ever noticed that there are certain Christians that you are drawn to? They are always smiling and joyful. They are infectious – you enjoy life when you are around them.

So often these same Christians are those who have suffered the most. Though they have wept, they have also learned to “sing in the rain.” William Arthur Ward said, “Crisis – like sudden rainstorms – can help or hinder, enrich or engulf, depending on whether or not we have properly prepared for them.”

Those Christians who sing in the midst of trial are those who have prepared by staying close to the Lord.
