The husband is to be the spiritual leader of the home. You are called to lead your wife in payer, read the Word with her, have family devotions, and instigate involvement in your local church. As you draw near to the Lord in your personal commitment, he gives you the resources to lead your wife and family before Him.

It’s often been said that the family that prays together stays together. Though it’s a cliché, there is a great deal of truth in the statement. Consistency in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship as a couple will do much to strengthen your marriage and help you both through the rough times of life.
