“We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body
and to be present with the Lord. Therefore we make it our aim,
whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him."
2 Corinthians 5:8-9 

In the above passage, Paul is exhorting us to be heavenly minded. Our desires should be foe heaven and not for this earthly life. We should desire to be in our new body and be in the presence of the Lord. Too many of us are earthly minded. We are so caught up with our lives on earth and the material things that this life offers, that we seldom think about heaven. And, we seldom realize that the way we live our life on earth will be judged once we get to heaven!

The one objective in out life is to please the Lord in everything we do, that’s it! That’s our calling as believers! What are you living for?
