The Richness of Suffering

“Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful, and fully repays the proud person. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD.”
Psalm 31:23-24

Suffering can help us minister to others. I always enjoy speaking to mature Christians who have walked for years with the Lord, and who have experienced various problems, trials, and sufferings. They radiate the Lord’s grace and mercy and are pillars of encouragement within church fellowships. Those that suffer a great deal are often used by God to minister to others in tremendous ways. Just think of the trials that King David had to endure in order to give us the great encouragement that we find in the Psalms!

We need to remember that God will us ample grace to endure our trials.

Thought for the Day:
The more our trials increase the more
God’s grace and comfort is manifested in our lives.
