The Abomination of
Desolation
“Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation’, spoken of by
Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever reads, let him
understand), then let those who are in Judah flee to the mountains.” Matthew 24:15-16
After the mark of the beast is in place, the Antichrist will
break the seven- year covenant with Israel and invade their land. It is
at this time that the Antichrist reveals his satanic character by stepping into
the rebuilt temple declaring himself God and demanding to be worshipped! Known
as the Abomination of Desolation, this event ushers in the Great Tribulation.
The Antichrist will try to wipe out the existence of the
Jewish people, something that Satan has been trying to do since the beginning
of time. Have you read the headlines recently? God’s chosen people are
continually being attacked. As believers, we need to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and love the
Jewish people!
Thought for the Day: God will always
protect the remnant of the Jewish people. He always keeps his promises!
