Praising Him when You
Hurt
“To counsel those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the
oil of joy for mourning, the grmet of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that
they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He
may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3
Praise the Lord continually! It’s in the times that we don’t
feel like praising the Lord that we need to! When we get our focus onto
praising God and off of our hurts, we experience God’s healing touch.
The more we praise and worship God, the less we will be
preoccupied with our own hurt. God works in our praises and changes our
perspective. The more we focus on the Lord and bless His name, the greater our
healing will be.
Thought for the Day: Try praying through
the Psalms and see how God will touch your hurt.
