Practice What You Preach

“For I have given you an example,
that you should do as I have done to you.”
John 13:15 

We are not only to preach the gospel, but to live it. There are to many people today talking about the Lord while living like the devil! Jesus told us to be “doers of the word.” Yet, so often we are all talk and no action.

A mother was telling her little boy what manner of person a Christian should be. When the lesson was finished, the mother got a stab she never forgot, when her boy asked seriously, “Mother, have I ever seen a Christian?”
