 Christ's Great Commission

It is the Father's will " . . . that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). Therefore, Christ offered Himself as the sacrifice for the sins of the world. After He resurrected, He appeared to His disciples and commissioned them by saying, "Peace be unto you: As My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you."
(John 20:21).

The Apostle Paul humbly responded, "How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!"
(Romans 10:14-15)

"Only one life 'twill soon be past.
Only what's done for Christ will last."



S.S.I.Y. is a ministry of Calvary Chapel Golden Springs with the main objective
to obey Christ's command, ". . . Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15).


Our Vision

EXPOSE the body of Christ to world missions through seminars, evangelistic practicums, and work trips, so that they can seek the Lord on their own as to what their role should be in missions.
PROVIDE a support system for missionaries through prayer, letters of encouragement, financial support, and study materials to aid them in their missionary work.

Support System

This is how you as the body of Christ can actively participate in obeying
Christ's great commission:
  1. PRAY FOR OUR MISSIONARIES
    "I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with a pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day".
    (2 Timothy 1:3)

  2. PROVIDE OUR MISSIONARIES WITH STUDY TOOLS
    "Bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas when you come and the books, especially the parchments".
    (2 Timothy 4:13)

  3. SUPPORT OUR MISSIONARIES FINANCIALLY
    "For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities. Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account".
    (Phil. 4:16-17)

    To insure the safety of your gift, we advise that you DO NOT send it directly to the mission field. Your tax deductible contributions should be sent through Calvary Chapel Golden Springs, and designated to General Missions or to a specific missionary.

  4. WRITE TO ENCOURAGE OUR MISSIONARIES
    "The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself".
    (Proverbs 11:25)
