Faith in Victory

In Ephesians 6:13 we find these words, “Having done all, to stand”.  George Campbell Morgan interpreted this passage as God’s assured victory for the Christian in this word.  In his sermon, Christian Conflict, he further tells us that, “God has an inheritance in His people; not that we have an inheritance in Him - which is perfectly true - but something more astonishing: that God has an inheritance in His people; that God has created in His people a medium through which, to all ages to come and to the unfallen intelligences of the other world, He will make known His grace, and make known His wisdom.”

What a wonderful interpretation of this passage.  God called us to be His ambassadors.  We have been given the responsibility to show and tell the world now and in the future about God’s grace, wisdom, mercy and power through Jesus Christ, our Savoir.

Ephesians 6:10 thru 21 is a powerful passage.  It instructs us on how to war against the evil principalities of this world.  Morgan points out our responsibility as a Christians to walk worthily of our inheritance.  Morgan’s sermon rings true; he said, “Men will only know the grace of God, and that angels and principalities will only know the grace of God, and that all the ages that transcend the possibility of our imagination will only know the grace of God, as we tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.”

Therefore let us pray that the light of Heaven shine on every method and scam of the high and the low on earth.  May He bring every relationship that affects this world today under His measurement and adjustment so that every man, woman and child will know HIM.

Thank you for your continued prays for the body of Christ and the lost souls who need Jesus in their life.  May God’s face shine on you, and may He defend you.
