 Crusade Musicians
TREI, DOI, UNU
The band began as a Praise and Worship project in November of 2001, by Contrast band members Alin and Tina Timofte along with Corina Coc. But they became a praise and worship band along the way. Their vision was not to be just another band but to go beyond that concept. They wanted to be something beyond just music, or just a name, to represent a whole concept, a lifestyle, a life of continuous worship.
Their first album was titled “Inchinare” which means “Worship” and it came out at the end of 2001. It had a great impact on the Christian youth, and it broke through the traditional worship in many of the different churches in Romania and surrounding countries. Many Romanian communities all over Europe and the U.S. loved the CD because it gave them the opportunity to introduce new songs in their church services. In January 2003 their second album was released titled “Ridica-ma” which means “Lift me up.”
Three, Two One is more than just a name to these band mates. According to the members, “Every time we think about explaining the name, we try to suggest the image of an hourglass. Meaning, that time is really ticking away and there’s no way we can afford to be wasting it.” In other words, the name “3, 2, 1” is supposed to be a challenge to every one, as it pictures a certain countdown.
