Sharon is the wife of Pastor Raul Ries, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Golden Springs in Diamond Bar, CA. Pastor Raul is heard worldwide through the radio program Somebody Loves You.

Sharon spent her childhood and early youth in South America with her missionary parents, Edmund & Naomi Farrel. Sharon, also a missionary, does extensive missionary work throughout South America. She is a gifted Bible teacher and has an intense passion to see souls saved.

She is an author, builder, conference and retreat speaker and the Director of the Women’s Ministries at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs. She also serves on the Calvary Chapel Association Pastors’ Wives’ Board.

Sharon and Raul have been married for 52 years. They have three adult boys, two daughters-in-law and nine precious grandchildren, whom she spends precious time with every chance she gets!
Lauren is a pastor’s wife and one of the women’s Bible teachers. She is one of the overseers of the Young Women’s Ministry. As young women face many challenges in this world, Lauren seeks to encourage them in their walks with Jesus Christ. Now raising two girls of her own, Lauren’s passion has deepened. Her desire is to see young women grow in their knowledge and understanding of Jesus.

Her husband, Wade O’Neill, is one of the associate pastors here at CCGS. He teaches the Young Adults study and on Sunday nights. He assists in overseeing events and the Calvary Chapel Association Pastors’ Conferences. They have been married for seven years and have two daughters: Harper Faith (5 years old) and Phoebe (3 years old).
Shirley was born on the mission field to missionary parents, Ed & Naomi Farrel. She lived in both Colombia and Chile until she was 15. She still serves in missions and accompanies her sister, Sharon Ries, to South America to teach women’s conferences and retreats in both English and Spanish.

She is one of the women Bible teachers. She also taught high school and grade school for over 30 years and currently teaches part time. She loves to study and teach the Word of God in a clear and concise manner that would bring understanding to the hearers and change in their lives. Her passion is to pray for those in need and to encourage those who are suffering.

She met her husband Norman, a Music Professor, in her senior year at Bethany Bible College. They have been married 44 years. They have one adult son & daughter-in-law and one adult daughter. They have one granddaughter-in-love and one grandson due in May.
Georgette is one of the women Bible teachers. She has been involved in women’s ministry about 48 years. She got involved in women's ministry here at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs 28 years ago.

She oversees the decoration ministry. On staff as the design coordinator. She loves to share God's word with women.

Married almost 50 years to husband Rich. Two adult daughters, two sons-in-law & 6 precious grandchildren.
Linda is a pastor’s wife and one of the women Bible teachers. She has served in ministry at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs for over 30 years. She has been involved in planning and coordinating many women’s conferences, retreats and Bible studies.

One of her greatest passions is to teach God’s Word and help others grow in their relationship with Jesus. She has taught women as well as children of all ages.

Her husband, Jesse Barela, one of the associate pastors, is the staff coordinator, teaches in the Bible School and is the New Believers’ overseer. They have been married for 36 years and have two adult boys, Jacob and Luke.
Melissa is one of the pastor’s wives married to Scott Salamat, the High School pastor. She has been serving in Women’s Ministry for about 20 years and helps head up the Young Women’s Ministry with Lauren O’Neill.

She loves seeing the young women and moms grow deeper in the Word, fellowship with each other and watch the Lord reveal Himself in a deeper way through the Bible study. She is excited for this new year and to learn all about the book of Philippians.

They have been married 16 years and have 5 kids ages 6-14.
In October of 1980, after reading a Christian tract, Claire knelt down by her bedside, and by faith, accepted the Lord. She came on staff at Calvary Chapel in 1998 working in the accounting department. Years later, she became the Children's Ministry Administrative Assistant. Currently, she is active in the SLY Publishing ministry where she has had the opportunity to write her first book––Crimson.

Claire has such a passion for writing and is excited to use this gift for God’s glory. Since the West Covina days, she has been a part of the women's ministry, where in singleness of heart and mind, she is dedicated to serving the Lord and the many women who attend the women’s events.

Claire is one of the women Bible teachers and also oversees the Women’s Spring Tea and the Young Girl’s Tea. Coming from England, the teas are a perfect fit! Claire has two beautiful daughters, and two loving sons! Her eldest daughter has four rambunctious boys! Claire enjoys interacting with all her precious grandsons.
Miriam has been in ministry for over 35 years. She began working with the youth and the women’s ministry at Calvary Chapel West Covina. In 1986 she and her family went to Santiago, Chile as Missionaries; there they ministered for 13 years, planting more than 14 churches throughout Chile, and working in different facets of ministry.

In 1998 she returned to the States and began to work full time ministry at Calvary Chapel Golden Springs. At present she is a conference speaker, and is one of the women’s Bible teachers.

Her desire is to share the word of God in a simple and clear way so that those listening would walk away with something to help them “do this thing called life.”

She is the Manager of Golden Springs Christian Bookstore. She has three adult boys and four beautiful grandchildren.
Hallie is a pastor’s wife married to Pastor Hector, who oversees the Missions. She came to know the Lord in 1979. She came on staff at Calvary Chapel West Covina in 1983 serving in the Radio Ministry. She went on her first mission’s trip with her Bible college class to Colombia in 1984. The Lord confirmed His will in her life to go back and serve Him in Colombia -- she just didn’t know the beautiful blessing that awaited her there. She met & married the Colombian single pastor, Hector Martinez, in June of 1986.

The Lord called Hallie and her family back to the United States in June of 2002, where both she and Pastor Hector came on staff.

She is one of the women Bible teachers and a conference speaker in both English and Spanish. She has such a love for God and His people and loves sharing His word in a very down-to-earth and understandable way.

She serves as the Administrative Assistant for Pastor Dale Goddard. She also serves alongside her husband in the Spanish ministry. They have three married children and one grandson.
Marcella is a pastor’s wife and one of the women’s Bible teachers. After being saved in 1992, she began serving in various ministries including the children’s ministry where she taught all ages at Sunday School, VBS and Camp. She came on staff at CCGS in 2001 serving as the receptionist. She has been overseeing the Women’s Ministry since 2004.

She has a passion for God and His Word and loves people. Her heart is to minister to women and encourage them with hope by teaching God’s Word in a down-to-earth and practical manner that is applicable for everyday life.

Her husband, Lonnie Roark, one of the associate pastors, oversees the maintenance of the chapel, Compassion Ministry and New Thirst. They have been married for 43 years. She cherishes her family time with her two adult daughters, a son-in-law and three precious grandchildren.
