There are all kinds of daily situations where one must submit to another. Some couples already submit to each other and don't even know it! Submission is just another way to compromise oneself for the other. It is cooperation with one another. The best marriages are mutually submissive ones. Marriage is all about give and take, negotiation, and compromise.

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy, and good fruit, impartial and sincere”.
