Co-Laborers
I urge you, brethren -- you know the household of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves to the ministry of the saints -- that you also submit to such, and to everyone who works and labors with us.
1 Corinthians 16:15-16
Paul was getting ready to end his letter to the Corinthians, and he wanted to acknowledge those who were fellow laborers in Christ. He was not trying to puff them up or praise them, but he wanted the church to recognize who they were when they came to town. They were co-laborers with Paul, and he was making sure the people would know who the real missionaries were.
