This ministry is a blessing to those who have experienced the loss of their spouse. This ministry is for those who love to serve the Lord behind the scenes. Those involved get to enjoy setting up for the widows’ dinners, preparing food, decorating and cleaning up at our events.
We also need help with the transportation to offsite outings. Our vision is to see the Lord touch these women, young and old, who have experienced the loss and are dealing with any hardships. We see 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 in action as the widows minister and encourage one another. Whether the loss is recent or not so recent, we are there to serve and encourage them through our love, compassion and service. We have several outings a year which include beach trips, museums, teas, dinners and other places of interest. It is a ministry dedicated to sharing of testimonies and supporting each other through prayer and the Word.
